Head of People & Talent (Remote)

About the Company

My client is a forward-thinking, high-growth company operating in fintech, investment funds, hedge funds, and blockchain. With a remote-first culture and a team spread across multiple jurisdictions, they are committed to building a world-class organization that attracts and retains top talent while maintaining a strong focus on HR compliance, employee engagement, and leadership development.

To support this mission, they are seeking a strategic and hands-on HR & Talent Acquisition Lead who will drive HR operations, workforce planning, and talent acquisition in a fast-paced, scaling environment. This is a leadership role, ideal for a seasoned HR professional with experience in a high-growth, remote-first company who is comfortable leading HR initiatives while also overseeing critical recruitment needs.

The Opportunity

As HR & Talent Acquisition Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s HR strategy, ensuring compliance with global employment laws, and fostering a high-performance culture. You will lead HR operations, workforce planning, compensation structures, and organizational development, while also managing high-impact recruitment efforts for key roles.

This position requires a strategic thinker who is also hands-on, with the ability to balance long-term HR and talent strategies with the execution of day-to-day operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

HR Leadership & Operations (65%)

  • HR Strategy & Compliance – Develop and implement HR policies, compliance frameworks, and employee relations strategies across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Workforce Planning & Organizational Development – Partner with leadership to define growth strategies, career progression frameworks, and succession planning.
  • Employee Engagement & Culture – Drive initiatives that enhance employee experience, retention, and professional development.
  • Compensation & Benefits – Oversee global salary benchmarking, performance-based compensation structures, and benefits programs.
  • HR Compliance & Employer-of-Record (EoR) Management – Ensure alignment with regional employment laws, EoR services, and global workforce regulations.
  • Performance Management & Leadership Development – Implement feedback-driven performance reviews and leadership training programs.
  • HR Technology & Analytics – Optimize HRIS and ATS platforms to improve efficiency and reporting.

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment (35%)

  • Strategic Hiring – Lead end-to-end recruitment for critical roles in fintech, trading, and blockchain, ensuring a high-caliber workforce.
  • Executive Search & Leadership Hiring – Partner with C-suite executives on senior and executive-level hiring.
  • Diversity & Inclusion Initiatives – Build DE&I recruitment strategies that attract underrepresented talent.
  • Employer Branding & Candidate Experience – Strengthen the company’s employer value proposition (EVP) and drive high-touch candidate experiences.
  • Recruitment Analytics & Optimization – Use data-driven insights to refine hiring strategies, reduce time-to-hire, and improve retention.

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in HR & Talent Acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong HR operations and compliance expertise, ideally across fintech, trading, hedge funds, or blockchain.
  • Experience in managing HR processes across multiple global jurisdictions, including EoR services, payroll, benefits, and workforce planning.
  • Proven ability to design and implement HR policies, performance management frameworks, and leadership development programs.
  • Hands-on experience in strategic recruitment, executive hiring, and talent pipeline management.
  • Data-driven decision-maker with experience optimizing HRIS and ATS platforms (e.g., Workday, Lever, Greenhouse).
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage C-level executives and global teams.
  • Deep understanding of employment law, compensation structures, and HR compliance requirements across multiple regions.
  • Passionate about building high-performing, people-first cultures in a remote-first, high-growth environment.

Why Join?

  • Lead HR strategy in a fast-growing, high-impact company.
  • Shape the company’s people and culture, driving engagement and retention.
  • Work in a dynamic, remote-first environment with a globally distributed team.
  • Competitive salary and benefits, with opportunities for career growth.

Ready to Make an Impact?

If you are an experienced HR leader who thrives in high-growth, fast-paced environments, we would love to hear from you. Apply now to take on a highly strategic, hands-on role that will shape the future of this company.
