Aramark have a exciting opportunity arise for a chef to work within our catering team here at RAF Boulmer, NE66 3JF
This role is suited to a Chef with a conscientious and innovative approach who will develop and has the commitment to deliver exceptional service in line with our customers and client demands.

What you'll be doing

  • ⦁ Work with a team of chefs to deliver meals, 3 times a day

⦁ Supervising and assisting your team in the kitchen
⦁ Following all aramark specifications for the menu
⦁ All health and safety paperwork to be checked daily
⦁ Ordering and menu building
⦁ Working with the head chef to maintain continuity in the kitchen.
⦁ Effective and efficient food production in line with recipe sheets
⦁ Full knowledge of all menu items served
⦁ Ensure the kitchen is clean and tidy
⦁ Fill in all relevant paperwork and due diligence forms
⦁ Be an excellent team player and be able to deal with conflict if it arises
⦁ Undertake relevant training as required

Experience

⦁ Relevant culinary qualification required (706/2 or NVQ 2 or above
⦁ Must be able to pass DBS checks
⦁ Previous supervisory skills (2 years minimum)
⦁ Experience working in a large scale kitchen
