A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD AND BEVERAGE TEAM MEMBER AT THE PRINCIPAL YORK
What you'll be doing ...
Reporting to the Head of Food and Beverage, you can expect your working day to include:
- Assisting in creating a warm and welcoming evironment
- Ensuring that all guests' requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectively.
- Setting up our Restaurants, and Bars for service.
- Helping with Breakfast Service, Afternoon Tea Service, and Dinner Service.
- Serving guests light refreshments
- Taking food and drink order and serve guests at their table throughout the hotel.
- Take Food Service Orders, and deliver to guest rooms within expected timeframes.
- Maintaining a postive working relationshps with colleagues - we are an enthusatic, authentic bunch of people who truly care about team work and great service.

To suceed in the role of Food and Beverage Team Member, you will need the following qualities and skills:
- To be passionate about delivering great service and creating memorable moments
- Previous experience within hotels is advantageous but not essential.
- To be will to learn new things and work as part of the wider hotel team.
- Flexible - you could be working in our Restaurant, Garden Room or Bar, on a variety of evenings, days and weeks.
- This is a flexible role - so hours will depend on business needs.
