The Senior IT Support Specialist will work within the IT Support Team to Assist our colleagues. This team is accountable for analysing, troubleshooting, and evaluating technology issues to optimise operational efficiency.

It covers providing technical assistance, solutions, and assistance to end-users both internal & external regarding computer systems, software applications and hardware devices (incl. Servers, PC’s & telephones, maintenance and installations, network infrastructure uptime and security monitoring and improving general IT systems.). To do this you will be required to be on site at our Sheffield Head Office a minimum of 2-3 days per week.

About the role

Manage requests in the form of tickets into the IT Support Desk in a prioritised and organised manner, resolving issues or escalating for additional help as required.

Liaise with Third Party Suppliers where required to resolve the issue or escalate to relevant parties for additional support.

Confirm Daily tasks are completed to maintain internal records and keep us ISO27001 compliant.

Installation and configuration of IT hardware and software across the business and problem-solving when issues arise, involving the relevant third parties where required.

Collaborate with the Infrastructure team to proactively manage, maintain and review the business’ technical infrastructure,

Use internal security tools to react to incidents and minimise impact to our colleagues and customers providing coaching and training to colleagues as required.

About you

Education and Qualifications

  • CompTIA or similar
  • ITIL level foundation or above
  • Microsoft accredited.

Experience

  • 3 years or more in an IT Support role
  • AWS (Amazon Workspace)
  • ISO270001 certification compliance

Skills

  • Work independently and also part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Excellent Time management
