We’re currentlylooking for a Transport Shift Manager on a permanent basis atour Fresh Direct depot in Bicester, Oxfordshire.  You'lltake responsibility for ensuring our team of drivers areperforming their role to the highest possiblestandards.

As Transport ShiftManager on a day to day basis you'll be involved in awide variety of tasks from ensuring our drivers are adhering to alllegislative requirements, company policies and ways of working toidentifying & embedding new initiatives to improve thedistribution operation.  As a strong people leader,you'll use your transport operational knowledge and experienceto support the Distribution Manager in building a high performingteam of drivers and administration colleagues. This is a variedjob, where you will be not only be ensuring all costs are in linewith the budgetary requirements but also taking a key role increating the correct environment for our colleagues - leading byexample and setting and maintaining standards in service, health,safety, and compliance.

To join us in this roleyou’ll have a solid understanding of key legislative requirementsand ideally hold Management CPC qualification or have asignificant level of experience with a view to completingadditional learning to obtain relevantqualifications.
