Our future team of Clinical Practice Educators (CPEs) will play a crucial role in shaping the clinical skills and professional development of student physician associates through supervised, practical, hands-on learning experiences in secondary care environments, delivering high-quality bedside teaching and facilitating theoretical knowledge to real-world clinical settings.

Key attributes of the successful applicant include:

  • Experienced physician associate, with at least 3-years of clinical experience in a secondary care environment 
  • Experience delivering workplace-based physician associate / clinical education and supervision of student healthcare professionals 
  • Understanding of the skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary for a newly qualified physician associate
  • Strong organisational, time-management and communication skills 
  • Enthusiasm and personal initiative to solve problems
