Position Overview: As a Bunker Trading Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing bunker trading activities in the London market. You will work closely with the global trading team to optimize the supply chain, develop strong customer relationships, and contribute to the company's strategic goals. This is a leadership role that requires a deep understanding of the bunker fuel industry, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record of success in bunker trading.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute trading strategies to maximize profitability in the bunker fuel market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and industry partners.
  • Analyze market trends, pricing, and demand to make informed trading decisions.
  • Monitor and manage trading risks, including exposure to price fluctuations and credit risks.
  • Lead a team of bunker traders and provide coaching and mentorship.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including operations, finance, and compliance, to ensure smooth and compliant trading operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and market developments.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in bunker fuel trading, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of the global bunker fuel market, including supply and demand dynamics.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Leadership experience and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Proficiency in trading software and market analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
