Lead Quality Assurance Engineer

Fixed Term Contract
The Lead Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for leading the development and execution of software testing processes, ensuring the quality of software products. You will work closely with the development team and business to identify and resolve issues, and ensure that the software meets the specified requirements and standards.
Responsibilities
Ownership for the end-to-end life cycle of testing and assurance
Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications
Control test environment including assuring it is reflective of the production environment
Ensure engagement in sprint cycles and ceremonies
Leverage experience in manual testing to identify test scenarios, create test models, and execute exploratory testing
Manage and control automated test scripts, as well as assisting engineers in adopting good testing principles
Accountable for UAT activities
Ensure that test results are recorded and compare them to expected results
Manage, identify, and track bugs throughout testing
Collaborate with different stakeholders including product managers, project managers, engineers, architects and the business to ensure project/product are well understood and the testing and assurance strategy is well defined
Advise in driving improvements in QA efficiency and maturity through processes and ways of working
Qualifications
Essential:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
QA experience across manual and automation testing
QA management experience
Knowledge of software development methodologies and processes.
Experience in Selenium and Python
Communicate effectively and share thoughts and ideas through methods appropriate to the audience.
Adapt and respond effectively when embracing new opportunities, change and in navigating uncertainty.
Actively contribute as part of a team and work towards achieving team goals and outcomes.
Take responsibility and demonstrate accountability in completing tasks and achieving objectives, actively seeking to resolve problems and identify opportunities.
