About this role:

Join Content at an exciting time as we enter the next phase of expanding our business beyond Restaurants and Grocery Content is investing in our ability to localise all of our Product content across every JET market, and we need experienced localisation specialists to bring our vision to life and empower everyday convenience.

As a Product Localisation Specialist, your main goal will be to improve the quality of all customer facing user experience copy on JET’s websites and apps. Focusing on everything from transcreation to proofreading, stakeholder management and quality checks, this is a varied role where you can cover a wide scope of language-oriented topics.

Working within the Localisation team in User Experience and Design, you will collaborate with stakeholders across Content, Product and Tech, and the wider business – as well as liaising with our external localisation agency. By aligning with representatives from all areas, you can ensure the local tone of voice is up to date, and that all our copy has that special Just Eat Takeaway.com flavour.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role: 

  • Localise web and app product copy created by our UX writing team in Dutch
  • Bringing the JET tone of voice to life in our markets all over the world, delivering high quality multilingual content for all JET’s platforms.
  • Receive and manage copy requests across all markets, supporting day to day projects and operations between JET and our external agency.
  • Proofread, review and edit copy delivered by the external agency
  • Manage relationships internally and externally, and work with stakeholders to ensure tone of voice and style is consistently followed.
  • Align with country-specific teams across the business on product projects and initiatives.
  • Maintain language-related documents such as the glossaries and style guides
  • Collect and analyse insights to drive quality improvement & perform audits to ensure our products deliver excellent quality

What will you bring to the table?

  • Proficient writing, reviewing and proofreading in Dutch and English
  • Native speaker of Dutch and fluent proficiency in English
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to successfully manage internal & external relationships
  • Comfortable with working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
  • Previous experience with CAT tools and TMS
