This role is within the CIC Inbound Development Team and will report to the Development Team Manager. The Development Team are responsible for ensuring that all solutions are designed, built, and maintained, ensuring the requirements of both internal and external customers are met, providing functional use of systems and applications during operational processing activities.

You will be responsible for the build of viable and effective designs and specifications along with developing high-quality solutions suitable for a high-capacity production environment.

The nature of this work generally demands a reasonable level of proficiency, and the ability to quickly understand the operational nature of the CIC Inbound business is essential, as the role will involve interpretation of requirements, system architecture and design, delivering the Development activities through collaboration with Information Technology, Quality Assurance, Business Integration, Operations and other Stakeholders that solution design, build and maintenance, provides the required functionality and meets the appropriate levels of quality for operational performance.

The ability to maintain rigorous compliance with project deliverables and industry standards is also essential as you will be working within a governance framework with supporting documentation for each stage of the development process which can vary from ensuring individual components meet business requirements to ensuring overall compliance within project and industry definitions are fulfilled against the end user criteria.

Role Overview

  • Develop and test integrated solutions using various Capture software and Microsoft technologies
  • Knowledge of capture technologies is essential
  • Develop software, scripts, programs, extensions, and integrations using C# .net and related languages and technologies
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance systems based on business requirements using approved technologies and coding standards
  • Work with team members on multi-person projects. Conduct quality reviews and share knowledge
  • Provide on-going support to CIC operations
  • Create system documentation and standard operating procedures for enterprise application development
  • Contribute to new projects and continuous improvement
  • Become expert in and support the high-capacity production platforms
  • Assist with root cause analysis for operational and customer issues
  • Maintain strong working relationships, working closely with internal teams; Business Integration, Quality Assurance, IT and Operations to ensure issues are progressed.
  • Quality focused and with a commitment to best practice.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to build rapport and perform stakeholder engagement.
