Position Overview:

As the Europe Market Regional Head and Senior Vice President, Mobile Devices, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction and operational excellence of our business across the region. Reporting directly to the global leadership team, you will lead a talented and diverse team of professionals, setting the vision, direction, and priorities for the region to achieve ambitious growth targets and deliver exceptional results.

In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for shaping the future of our mobile devices and gadgets business, leveraging your deep industry knowledge, strategic vision, and leadership expertise to drive innovation, capture market opportunities, and strengthen our competitive position in the region. With full accountability for P&L performance, you will develop and execute comprehensive strategies to drive revenue growth, optimize profitability, and maximize market share, while ensuring operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, marketing, finance, and operations, you will align regional initiatives with corporate objectives, foster a culture of collaboration and accountability, and drive seamless execution of strategic initiatives to deliver sustainable growth and value for our customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive regional strategies aligned with global objectives to drive market penetration, revenue growth, and brand equity in the mobile devices and gadgets segment. Translate market insights and customer feedback into actionable strategies to capitalize on emerging trends and stay ahead of the competition.

P&L Accountability: Assume full responsibility for achieving P&L targets, including revenue, margin, and operating profit objectives within the region. Monitor financial performance, analyze key metrics, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure alignment with financial goals and objectives.

Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, including emerging trends, customer segments, and distribution channels, to expand market share and drive revenue growth across diverse markets in the Asia Pacific region. Develop and execute market entry strategies for new geographic regions and segments, leveraging local market knowledge and insights.

Product Portfolio Management: Collaborate closely with global product development teams to tailor product offerings to regional market preferences, ensuring that our products meet the needs and expectations of consumers in diverse markets. Drive product innovation and differentiation to maintain a competitive edge and capture market share.

Channel Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners, distributors, and retailers to optimize distribution networks and enhance brand visibility and accessibility in target markets. Develop channel strategies and programs to drive sales growth, improve channel profitability, and strengthen partner relationships.

Team Leadership: Provide inspirational leadership to regional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability to achieve collective goals and drive organizational success. Develop and mentor talent, empower teams to take ownership of their work, and create a high-performance culture that drives results.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to align regional initiatives with corporate objectives and ensure seamless execution across the organization. Communicate regularly with senior leadership to provide updates on regional performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.

Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to inform strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for differentiation and competitive advantage in the mobile devices and gadgets market. Utilize market research, data analysis, and customer insights to drive informed decision-making and shape future strategies.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in the consumer electronics industry, with a proven track record of success in senior management roles overseeing regional or global operations. Demonstrated experience in driving revenue growth, managing P&L, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the mobile devices and gadgets market, including evolving technologies, competitive landscape, and consumer trends. Proven ability to anticipate market shifts, identify growth opportunities, and develop innovative strategies to capitalize on emerging trends.Business Acumen: Strong financial acumen and business analytics skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategies that drive profitable growth and market leadership in a dynamic and competitive environment. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals and deliver superior results. Proven track record of building high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability, and driving organizational change.Strategic Vision: Visionary thinker with the ability to anticipate market shifts, identify growth opportunities, and develop innovative strategies to capitalize on emerging trends and disrupt the market. Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with a focus on driving sustainable growth and long-term value creation.Collaborative Mindset: Effective communicator and collaborator with the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Proven track record of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and achieve common goals.Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
