We are looking for an experienced manager who is confident and passionate about early years.

To be the successful applicant, you must:
Have extensive knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and related guidance as set by the Department for Education, Local Authority and Ofsted.
Have a proven track record of increasing and maintaining high occupancy levels ensuring the ongoing sustainability of the nursery setting.
Have sound knowledge in using a nursery management system (e.g. , Famly.)
Have an approachable manner and be able to build positive relationships with parents, children, and colleagues
Be able to take own initiative and lead by example, to be self motivating and motivating of others.
Have a commitment to your own personal development and actively seek out training and development opportunities
Be willing to work shifts between the hours of 8am-6pm Monday- Friday for 41.25 hours per week (a willingness to work additional hours to suit the needs to the nursery)
Have a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience;
Hold a relevant Early Years/childcare qualification, Level 3 or higher.
Have management/team leader qualification, DSL , SEND training a must.

Your responsibilities as the Nursery Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:
Create a positive culture where employee engagement is seen as an important workplace factor, you are a team player.
Provide efficient day-to-day management of the nursery, showing confidence in managing staffing costs effectively
Provide training and mentoring to your staff team, including supervision.
Create a positive culture where employee engagement is seen as an important workplace factor
Uphold excellent standards of childcare and embed best practice through evidence based research, literature, Ofsted guidelines, Local Authority guidance and welfare requirements.
Build and maintain excellent relationships with families and colleagues
Marketing, promoting and growing the new nursery to increase its occupancy. This will include organising promotional events and activities.
Maintain a sound knowledge of company policies, procedures and safeguarding.
Lead on safeguarding and SEND, including attending core group meetings or conference and working within a multidisciplinary team.
