This role will work with the Financial Reporting team to ensure the group is compliant with all statutory reporting requirements and to support the accuracy of financial reporting and contribute to an effective internal control environment. The Finance Coordinator will play a critical role in the annual audit and statutory reporting process and ensure that all internal and external reporting requirements are met on a timely basis. The role will also support the wider finance team with broad company initiatives and interact with key internal and external stakeholders.
Duties:
Coordinate the annual group audit process and preparation of consolidated financial statementsTake responsibility for the audit timetable and ensure key deliverables are prepared in a timely manner by the various internal and external partiesEnsure all internal and external reporting requirements are defined and plan accordingly to meet deadlines set by lenders and investorsUnderstand local statutory reporting requirements in all countries that the EMEA Vantage group has operations inLiaise with local finance teams, fiduciaries and local auditors to support the annual audit (where required) and financial statements preparation and reviewCoordinate legal approval and signing of financial statements and filing within deadlines set by local company lawBe a key point of contact for the audit process and resolve issues or make sure they assigned to the correct personPrepare the audit plan for review by the Group reporting Director. Assess audit requirements for all companies within the group, including consolidating entities, and ensure auditors engaged for any new requirementsWorking in conjunction with other members of the team to continuously improve processing and reportingEnsure the Company’s internal financial control systems, processes and policies are complied with by all parts of the Company’s operations, including supply chain management, purchasing controls, payment authorizationsAssist the wider finance team with any ad hoc administration tasks
Job Requirements:
Experienced administrator/project coordinatorPrevious experience of working in a finance team for a multi-regional groupExperience of working with the audit process or statutory financial reporting preferredAbility to work quickly to a high level of accuracy with attention to detailAbility to communicate and build relationships effectively across all areas of the businessHighly motivated and confident in dealing with senior stakeholdersResults driven, ability to deliver to tight deadlines in a fast paced businessStrong analytical skills with attention to detail, strongly preferred Experience in dealing with issues and problem solve Able to plan, organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate internally with team members as well as externally with auditors and other service providers
