- You’ll drive the Supply Chain sustainability agenda across COO, Finance, and Risk to reduce the carbon footprint of goods and services received by that function
- This is a great chance to make a real impact as you support our business strategy and shape the way we move forward
This key role involves delivering Supply Chain services to the COO, Finance, and Risk functions, maintaining strong relationships with senior leadership, setting procurement and supplier sustainability strategies, and owning delivery against those strategies. You’ll also drive a culture of improvement and innovation across the supply chain function to continuously improve the service offering received by COO, Finance, and Risk.
Additionally, you’ll:

- Work with the functions to deliver a commercial and sourcing strategy which underpins their overall business strategy
- Transform the supply chain proposition to deliver a strategic sourcing proposition that will significantly improve the feedback received from the stakeholder base
- Partner with the senior leadership of COO, Finance, and Risk to ensure that appropriate third-party needs are identified and sourced in a scalable, timely manner
- Drive the third-party sustainability agenda into COO, Finance, and Risk to make sure that it becomes a key consideration in future decision making
- Define the future state of procurement for COO, Finance, and Risk and implement a strategic plan to achieve that state
We’re looking for an experienced senior leader with a deep understanding of the requirements of COO, Finance, and Risk organisations, with a particular focus on the needs of Property, Marketing, and HR within a banking context.
You’ll be a strategic thinker with the ability to convert strategy into implementation and be a pragmatic leader who is comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
You’ll also have:
- A proven track record in people leadership and delivery within a continuous improvement driven environment
- A proven ability to transform the delivery of a function to drive a step change in user experience and feedback
- Experience creating and managing scalable, future proof, commercial solutions which can be consumed by the business units as required
- Significant experience of influencing at an executive level
- A proven ability to build and develop strong relationships with internal customers and other key stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills with an ability to inspire and motivate a team of sourcing professionals
