Technical Business Analyst / Technical Trainer – 6 months (likely to extend to 12 months +)
A Global eCommerce business based in London is seeking a Technical Business Analyst / Technical Trainer to join their team during an exciting period of change, transformation, and modernisation.
Role Overview:
The successful Technical Business Analyst / Technical Trainer will play a crucial role in reviewing the company’s CMS, Search and Merchandising products, and Product Information Management (PIM) systems. This role involves both running discovery phases and training users on current and new products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct requirement gathering and stakeholder management.
- Lead "as is" and "to be" workshops to document user requirements.
- Create training manuals and deliver training sessions to users.
- Provide ongoing support to users, addressing training needs and troubleshooting issues.
- Collaborate with 3rd party vendors and assist in the integration of their solutions.
- Identify gaps in global training content and localise it as necessary.
- Participate in the larger-scale rollouts of new technologies, supporting the modernization program.
Essential Experience:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the eCommerce sector.
- Strong knowledge of Search and Merchandising products, ideally Attraqt (Fredhopper).
- Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) systems, preferably inRiver and .Net
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems, preferably Drupal, PHP, or StoryBlok.
- Demonstrated ability to create and deliver training content to business users.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in documenting user requirements.
- Previous experience in moving systems to the Cloud is a plus.
Contract details:
- Role: Technical Business Analyst / Technical trainer
- Duration: 6 months initial
- Rate: £400 - £500 per day (Inside IR35)
- Location: Hybrid role with up to 2 days per week onsite (London)
