Fire Door Carpenter

A leader in the provision of fire protection services is looking for experienced fire door carpenters to join their team. You will be working on social housing projects, carrying out new installations, upgrades and maintenance works too existing doors and frames. The works will be mostly based in and around or close to Leicester / Nottingham but will cover the East Midalnds and will cover multiple areas with a large housing association. Your own van will be required for the position.
The successful candidate will have:
Own van to carry materials and doors
At least two years experience working with fire doors
A strong background in carpentry and joinery
Excellent technical knowledge of fire door compliance
NVQ or equivalent in carpentry
Experience installing fire doors and frames
Experience upgrading and remediating existing doors and frames
Experience working on social housing FRA contracts
Roles and responsibilities
Installing and carrying out remedial works to new and existing fire doors
Complete works in line with the manufacture s specification
Document works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring evidence is taken accurately
Problem solving and being able to overcome unforeseen issues with the work
Liaise with customers and members of the general public
What's on offer?
Fire door installations and remedial works to social housing properties across the East Midlands
Self employed works on a long term CIS basis for the right candididate

Mileage above 30 miles, parking, congestion charges all reimbursed weekly
Productivity Bonus Scheme
