An industry-leading company in commercial real estate services is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join their Portfolio Management Team. This role involves supporting a Senior Surveyor and assisting in managing a diverse geographical portfolio for a major retail client.

Key

Responsibilities:

Assist with day-to-day property management tasks. Handle Applications for Consent on behalf of an occupier client with limited supervision. Coordinate with the internal Accounts Team on rent and service charge payments. Communicate with landlords and third parties on minor issues, escalating as needed. Provide clients with regular updates on key tasks. Offer reasoned advice and support to clients on property management matters. Support the Estates Lead with contractual reporting and regular updates from service lines. Undertake basic transactional activities such as license renewals and car parking acquisitions. Record minutes and actions during monthly client meetings. Assist the Estates Helpdesk with lease interpretation and liaise with FM suppliers. Conduct inspections of client properties to identify risks and opportunities. Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 GCSE passes (Grade A*-C), including Maths and English. RICS accredited degree preferred. Knowledge & Experience:
At least 1 year of commercial property experience desired. Familiarity with property management and lease terms. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to learn new software quickly. Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues. Understanding of finance and accounting, specifically property-related. Skills & Personal Qualities:
Ability to plan and prioritize workload to meet property management deliverables. Efficient and thorough in delivering property management tasks. Seek efficiencies and cost savings for clients. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, advisers, and colleagues. Commitment to developing skills, knowledge, and abilities in line with team requirements.
