TeacherActive is proud to be working with a school in Swansea, supporting with their recruitment for a Learning Support Assistant / LSA. The setting is centred on pupil s development, as well as an intrinsic desire to make progress both academically and with their own emotional, social and behavioural skills.


The school is seeking a passionate team player to take on this short-term role, although there is potential for this to become a long-term placement for the right Learning Support Assistant / LSA. The successful Learning Support Assistant / LSA will bring a new dimension and skill set to this role, be keen to develop their own skills to adapt to the children s individual needs and have a positive impact on the wider school.

The position will involve working with students across all Key Stages. A proactive thinker with the ability to take control of situations confidently is necessary.

The successful Learning Support Assistant / LSA will have:

  • Experience working with children in a school setting
  • Experience working with students of all key stages
  • Level 2 or 3 CACHE or equivalent desirable
  • Excellent time management skills
