What you'll do: 

  • Assist with preparation & serving of food as required, during mealtimes, serve and restock food from counters.
  • Setup and clean dining area and equipment for service.
  • Deliver exceptionally high standards in customer service, cleanliness, tidiness, and other operational activity.
  • You will adhere to all company compliance (such as Food safety, Health and Safety, Allergen awareness, COSHH and HACCP regulations).
  • To complete due diligence paperwork as required by the company: Food Safety, Health & Safety processes, and policies.
  • Completion of all mandatory training including updates as stipulated by the business.
  • To Safeguard and promote the welfare of pupils, customers, and colleagues at all times.

What you bring:  

  • First class communication skills, strong teamwork, and a positive attitude.
  • Ideally experience in a similar environment or a capacity to learn.
  • Basic food preparation experience is a plus (all training provided).
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a busy Kitchen environment

Package Description

Do you have responsibilities that mean you can only work in Schools hours? Do you need a role where you are off over the school holidays? Are you a passionate about working over various sites and regularly with different teams?  If so, we'd love you to join our team as a CATERING ASSISTANT

  • £11.44   per hour
  • 20 hours per week
  • Working pattern:  Monday - Friday - 11:00-14:00
  • Term Time Only **

**Equated pay (sometimes known as spread-over pay) is a method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks and holiday pay spread over 12 months instead of just receiving pay during the months that you work and none during the school closures/non-working weeks. This means that you get paid equal amounts of pay every month. Further information will be supplied at interview stage.**
