Mechanical Fitter Position Overview

  • Strip down and reassembly of the company's fleet of Xylem electric submersible pumps
  • Conducting preventative maintenance
  • Troubleshooting mechanical issues
  • Fitting of components
  • Full strip down and assembly



Mechanical Fitter Position Requirements

  • Previous experience in Preventative maintenance on Pumping equipment
  • Knowledge and experience of Pumping machinery
  • Able to troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Ideally qualified in an Engineering discipline
  • Based within a commutable distance of Peterlee



Mechanical Fitter Position Remuneration

  • 15.35 per hour
  • Full time, 39-hour week
  • Monday to Thursday 8:00 - 16:30 Friday 8:00 - 15:30
  • Overtime Available
  • 33 Days holiday including public holidays
  • Pension
