The Role of Group Financial Controller
Reporting to the CFO, your duties will include but not limited to: 

Day to day management of the finance function of 7
Financial lead on leadership team meetings
Budgeting and forecasting
Monthly management accounts including the month end close process, closing the sub-ledgers, flash reporting, accruals and prepayments, month end balance sheet reconciliations and fixed assets
Group cash forecasting and management, including group financing arrangements
Completion and submission of the quarterly VAT returns and other statutory compliance
Preparing and submitting the annual statutory account and associated tax filings
Preparation for various high level stakeholder management projects like Due diligence workstreams, preparation for investor/PE days
Along with multi-site leisure experience, we’re looking for a Group Financial Controller with: 

An accountancy qualification gained from a big 4 background or similar
Experience of a PE backed business
The role can be performed from home, but the successful candidate will be required to attend regular meetings in London and travel regularly to North East England. This is an exciting role but will not suit someone looking for a routine 9-5 type position.
