We are seeking a Finance Controller to join our dynamic and
rapidly growing company in the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will
manage the financial accounting team and oversee the day-to-day finance
function, driving efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Manage the financial
    accounting team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Produce weekly cash flow
    forecasts and annual cash budgets.
  • Drive cash flow through
    effective working capital management and credit control.
  • Ensure appropriate and
    adequate financial controls and processes are in place.
  • Manage daily treasury
    functions and ensure covenant compliance.
  • Oversee foreign currency
    exposure and implement appropriate hedging strategies.
  • Lead the accounts payable
    team, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards and
    regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the submission of
    statutory returns (VAT, ONS).
  • Collaborate with the Group
    to deliver audited statutory accounts and annual corporation tax returns.
  • Implement systems and
    process improvements across AP, AR, and Statutory lines.


What We're Looking For:




  • Qualified ACA/CIMA or ACCA
    Accountant.
  • Significant experience
    within Financial Control, ideally within an SME.
  • Proven ability to manage, mentor,
    and develop a team of around 7 individuals.
  • Strong attention to detail
    and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication
    skills and a strong business partnering approach.
  • Proactive, self-starter
    with a desire to improve processes and systems.
  • Strong track record in a
    similar finance leadership role.
