Insight and Engagement Co-ordinator ( South England )

Job type: Full Time, permanent

Salary: 31,478 Per Annum (including Area Weighting)

Hours: Working hours are 8 hours per day. You will be required to work outside of regular hours on occasion. This is not a regular expectation and notice will be provided. The post holder will have the ability to manage own diary around travel.

Locations: Homebased covering London, Kent, Surrey and Sussex

Applicant must be based in one of these regions

This role requires regular travel and therefore a Full Driving License, access to your own vehicle and business insurance are essential.

You will be able to claim mileage expenses from base location (to be ascertained) at 45p for every mile travelled as well as all other travel expenses.

An Enhanced DBS and Prison Clearance is required for this role. These will be completed as part of the Pre-Employment Screening process.

Nacro is a national Social Justice Charity with more than 50 years' experience of changing lives, building stronger communities, and working with stakeholders towards reducing crime.

Nacro deliver the Community Accommodation Support service (CAS) which is a national service across England and Wales. The service allows Courts to make greater use of bail by providing accommodation in the community with support for adult defendants who could not otherwise be bailed. CAS also provides support for adults released from Custody in the last three months of their sentence on Home Detention Curfew (HDC) and other Licence Orders

Primary Purpose of the Role:

As the Insight and Engagement Co-ordinator, you will play a pivotal role in extracting, collating, and analysing data to support the development and delivery of effective stakeholder engagement. Your focus will be on enhancing the quality and quantity of referrals, thereby contributing significantly to the success of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Management:

  • Internal Data Capture: Ensure timely input of data into relevant systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct both qualitative and quantitative data analysis to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
  • Anomaly Detection: Flag any data anomalies to the relevant line manager and take corrective actions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with front-line colleagues and managers to collect, collate, and chase necessary data.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Relationship Building: Develop and nurture constructive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including HMPPS, courts, and local authorities.
  • Engagement Support: Assist the Insight and Engagement Lead and Strategic Relationship and Engagement Manager in maintaining the National Stakeholder Engagement Plan.
  • Communication: Act as a point of contact for stakeholders, addressing queries and directing information to the appropriate teams.

Evidence Production:

  • Robust Information: Produce evidence and information that can withstand scrutiny, contributing significantly to the development of CAS2 services.
  • Reporting: Coordinate, collate, and analyse feedback from service users and stakeholders, drafting comprehensive reports with actionable recommendations.

Event Organization:

  • Planning: Organize and plan engagement events, ensuring all logistical details are managed efficiently.
  • Materials Development: Support the creation of engagement and marketing materials in conjunction with the marketing team.

Diary and Activity Management:

  • Strategic Coordination: Manage your own diary to strategically plan and coordinate engagement activities across specific geographical areas.
  • Efficient Travel: Ensure all travel is planned efficiently to maximize engagement opportunities and minimize downtime.

Experience and Skills:

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Prior experience in stakeholder engagement and using data to identify trends and inform needs is highly desirable.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to data analysis and reporting, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Engagement and Facilitation: Ability to drive and coordinate engagement and involvement activities, such as attending and facilitating events and briefings.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.

  • Technology Proficiency: Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite, with a willingness to learn new tools and technologies as needed.
  • Remote Teamwork: Capable of working in a new, remote, and agile team while proactively addressing ambiguity and adapting to an expanding service structure.
