A talented Compliance Lawyer is required to join a Magic circle law firm in London. The role involves ensuring the company is compliant with all legal regulations and company policies.

Description

  • Provide advice and training on compliance matters to the team.
  • Review and update company policies in line with legal requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes under the SRA.
  • Assist partners with reviewing clients' terms and conditions of business and drafting engagement letters.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of compliance programmes.
  • Handle any compliance-related issues that arise in relation to anti-money laundering, sanctions, conflicts, confidentiality, insider lists and anti-bribery and corruption. .
  • Compile reports for the senior management team.
  • Ensure all operations are conducted in a legal and ethical manner.

Profile

A successful Compliance Lawyer should have:

  • A qualified lawyer in England and Wales.
  • A degree in Law or a related field.
  • Experience in legal compliance role, ideally within a law firm.
  • Familiarity with industry practices and SRA standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • High integrity and professional ethics.
