Group Financial Controller

What you'll do:
Ensure reliable financial administration, including monthly and annual closing.Provide insightful analysis, budgets, and management reports, identifying opportunities and threats for the business.Manage the preparation of statutory financial statements and handle tax matters.Lead and mentor the client's finance and administration team, fostering their continuous development.Collaborate with the Managing Director to co-formulate annual business plans and monitor execution.Deliver impactful presentations on financial performance and business forecasts to the board.Develop scenarios and corrective measures to ensure business plan success.Contribute to improved business performance through financial analysis and strategic recommendations.Evaluate business cases, investment proposals, and revenue models.Proactively identify changing circumstances and potential new business models.Analyse business results against budgets and strategic objectives.Leverage Business Intelligence to unearth opportunities and risks.Organise planning and control cycles, composing monthly forecasts.Actively participate in new business development initiatives.Advise on large tenders and ensure optimal business margins.Monitor pricing and propose strategies for margin optimisation.Manage and develop the client's finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Collaborate effectively across departments to deliver exceptional service.
What you bring:
Qualified ACA, CIMA, or ACCA accountant with a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Financial Controller.Proven experience in weekly and monthly cash flow reporting and forecasting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Leadership experience and the ability to mentor others.Proficiency in MS Office Suite with advanced Excel skills.Knowledge of MS Dynamics 365 a plus.Working knowledge of IFRS, CIS, VAT and Payroll.Experience in the construction industry is preferred.
