About the role

As our Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategy and execution of Talent Acquisition, including hiring and Solent Mind’s employer brand. The role reports to the People and Culture Director.

You will provide expert advice and guidance across the full range of Talent Acquisition activity from workforce planning, recruitment and selection activity through to onboarding. Making the most of relevant and available data to inform and improve process and candidate experience along the way.

We want our workforce to be more representative of the local communities we work with, we are looking for an individual (working alongside our Inclusion Manager) with demonstrable experience of reaching, engaging and positively influencing the participation of underrepresented groups within our workplace.

About you

As our Talent Acquisition Manager, you will lead a small team working in collaboration with colleagues across Solent Mind to ensure all resourcing needs are met. You will be excited to join our new People & Culture team focused on delivering a people agenda that is about developing high performing teams and supporting the organisation on a journey of change.

You will have an up to date understanding of recruitment and selection methods, building campaigns, be comfortable operating at pace responding to customer needs and spinning lots of plates. Keen to play a significant role in helping us achieve our 2024 – 2027 strategy, Reaching Far, Reaching High, Growing Together you will be an ambitious HR/Talent professional with a passion for mental health and wellbeing.
