Scope / Purpose of Role:

Based in Rosyth,near Edinburgh, you will be part of a large, properly resourced team.

We are a business in terrific growth and are looking to strengthen our private label sales team.

Facing into the major UK multiple retailers, the role will require working closely with the operations, our customers and maintaining close links with our European colleagues.

Reports into: Sales Director

Direct Reports: N/A  

Key Stakeholders: External Customer, Production, Procurement, Planning, Technical New Product Development

Key Result Areas:

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the National Account Manager in developing and implementing a customer strategy, positioning Mowi Consumer Products UK Limited as the supplier of choice in each of our categories.  You will have the opportunity to take the lead on building business proposals that secure new contracts and long-term customer relationships, and you will help us embed a commercial, client-service focused approach to all our processes and activities.

You will also have responsibility for proposing, gaining approval on, and delivering the budgeted sales plan (volume, turnover, margin and promotions) for your accounts, as well as ensuring you provide timely and accurate monthly sales forecasts.  It is, therefore, vital that your head for figures is second-to-none.

Experience:

Account management experience is essential; this role would suit someone looking for next steps in their Account Management careerExperience with a large manufacturing food business facing into major UK retailers (Fish, Protein or short-life chilled experience would be a significant advantage)
