Purchase Ledger Clerk - 25 hours per week

We are looking for Part time Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their Accounts team working 25 hours per week.

The successful candidate will be assisting the Accounts Team reporting directly to the Finance Director.

The role will involve the following:
Deal with purchase/cost enquiriesFile invoices and statementsCategorising and assigning invoices to Divisions or LocationsWork out VAT payments and assigning the correct VAT codes based upon the purchaseCheck and reconcile supplier statementsAssist with monthly supplier payments and generate BACS fileProcess staff expenses
The Ideal candidate would have experience in:
Double entry bookkeepingBasic costing principlesPurchase, sales and general ledgersAccounting Software eg. Xero, Quickbooks, SageStrong IT skills across all Microsoft Office applicationsLevel 3 AAT or equivalentMinimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
