We are working with an education provider in the Birkenhead area who are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to join their team.

The role is a permanent full-time role, comprising of 38.75 hours per week (8:00am until 4:30pm, with a 3:15pm finish on Fridays) and you would be based at the education provider's centre in the Merseyside area, where you would be asked to deliver theoretical classroom teaching on the Mechanical Engineering BTEC programme (up to level 3). Modules would include Mechanical Principles, Engineering Maths, and Materials Science.

The starting salary for this position is between £31,000 and £32,960 per annum, and the client would be willing to put you through pay for a teaching qualification if you do not have one already. The package also includes a pension, a health/life plan, Mersey tunnel fees, and 30 days paid holiday (plus statutory holidays such as Bank Holidays).

To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:
-A level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification (or higher)
-Industrial experience of Mechanical Engineering
-A good understanding of Mechanical Principles

Please note that the education provider can consider skilled industry candidates who are looking to move into training, and would be able to assist them with achieving their teaching qualifications on the job.
