Non-Executive Chair: Term 3 years - Average 2-3 days per month.

Remuneration: £850 per day.

Location: Pwllheli, North Wales.

South Caernarfon Creameries Limited (SCC) is Wales oldest farmer owned dairy co-operative and processes circa 10% of the milk produced in Wales into quality cheese and butter for both national and international markets.

Over £35m has been invested in its facilities in the last decade in order to support its growth strategy of becoming the UK s leading middle tier manufacturer and packer of cheese.

The SCC Board has responsibility to develop the strategic direction of the co-operative and ensure the functions of the organisation are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively. The Board comprises of the Non-Executive Chair, Managing Director, Finance Director and 5 Non-Executive Farmer Directors.

  • Ability to Chair meetings effectively and efficiently.
