About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Service Transition Lead (DDAT) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting a program aimed at transitioning shadow IT (Digital, Data, and Technology) across the organization into the Digital Services Team. This critical role involves assuring the use of transition criteria, ensuring services are fit for purpose, and following established processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Transition: Lead the transition of IT services, ensuring alignment with transition criteria.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage and manage stakeholders across all levels, including CIO/Executive level, with strong influencing, negotiation, and diplomacy skills.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): Oversee or contribute to IT services M&A activities, including strategy development, financial carve-out, and service onboarding.
  • Project Management: Deliver projects within scope, time, and budget while managing risks effectively.
  • Integration & Optimization: Develop and implement integration strategies, define service levels, and identify opportunities for optimization and value creation.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Extensive Service Transition Experience - Essential.
  • Project Management Experience - Essential.
  • M&A Expertise:
    • Experience in leading or undertaking M&A in IT Services.
    • Proven track record in shaping and executing transition/carve-out strategies.
    • Experience managing financial carve-outs and minimizing stranded costs/technical debt.
  • Digital & Technology Solutions:
    • Deep understanding of corporate IT services, including Applications, ERP, Infrastructure, Data, Cloud, Architecture, and Cyber Security.
    • Ability to lead business cut-over and manage the people impact of M&As.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders in a matrix environment, including at the executive level.
  • Optimization & Integration:
    • Experience in developing strategies for service integration and identifying optimization initiatives.
