ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Prospero Teaching is looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants or support workers who can support children in a SEN school in Leyland.
You will be supporting children aged 5 -16 years old with varying needs from complex needs and non-verbal to moderate learning difficulties and autism. Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and caring individual who can support children on a 1:1 basis or within small groups.
The position is open to all experienced Teaching Assistants and support workers who have some experience in a similar role. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

Minimum rate of pay - GBP95 per day
Hours - 8:30 am - 4:00pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in a similar setting
LEVEL 2 Teaching Assistant/or equivalent and above is preferable
GCSE Maths and English and Computer literate
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
