About the Role
My client, a leader in solutions-focused integration for factories and warehouses across the UK, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the deployment of automated integrated systems, including assembly lines. This role requires strong project management skills and contract management experience, ensuring successful delivery from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead end-to-end project delivery of automated systems, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Contract Management: Oversee contract negotiations and manage relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and procurement, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all installations meet the required standards and client specifications.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management within the automation and integrated systems sector, specifically in factories or warehouses.
  • Strong background in contract management and supplier negotiation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP).
  • Willingness to travel as needed for project oversight.
