About the Role
Located in Bath, this is a busy shop in a brilliant location, with a vibrant community Our shop is in the Artisan quarter of Bath, which is full of eclectic & characterful independent's offering everything from vintage clothes to designer homewares, along with contemporary bars & restaurant's.
As Shop Manager, you'll be leading the volunteer team, as well as focusing on further recruitment to grow our volunteer team and building strong connections within the local community to ensure the shop's continued success.
About You
You will be someone with exceptional people skills, a leader who understands the importance of community and enjoys supporting people to exercise similar passions through volunteering. Proven experience leading and motivating teams, ideally having managed volunteers, or a staff team previously. A strong understanding of what good looks like in a busy and fast paced customer driven environment, ideally with some experience within Retail or a clear passion for sustainable fashion and knowledge of products and trends. A can-do attitude and ability to approach challenges in a positive way, knowing when to reach out for support and guidance where you need it. Previous charity retail experience is ideal, but not essential. If you have transferable leadership skills or experience managing a team in other settings and are looking for a new challenge, we'd love to hear from youIn no more than 300 words, please provide an example of a time when you used your leadership skills to motivate and engage a team to deliver outstanding customer service and exceed operational targets/KPI's?

Ways of Working: On-site – this role will be based in the Bath shop. We're looking for someone able to work 4 days (28 hours) per week to include some weekend working.

Ways of Working:
The majority of our roles can be performed remotely in the UK, but there are likely to be times when you will be required to come to your contracted office (up to 2-4 days per month or 6-8 days per quarter). This will be agreed with your Line Manager and team and is intended to be time spent on collaborating with colleagues and relationship building.
Please note: travel costs to your contracted office will be at your own expense.
