Based on the Derbyshire/Notts border, this is an easily accessible site for commuting from the East Midlands.

We are looking for a data driven Demand Planner who can forecast and analyse sales and stock levels, to ensure maximum sales and minimum risk, you will be comfortable reviewing and reporting across large amounts of data and reacting accordingly. Expert excel skills will be required for this role.

Demand Planner - The Role

  • Work with the commercial and planning team to develop detailed sales forecasts across a number of brands, with different market influences, trends and demands.
  • Review historical sales data and align forecast with business growth strategy.
  • Produce demand plans, weekly and monthly and report/review with commercial team providing updates on stock/style availability
  • Problem solve, and address issues with demand/availability with senior management.
  • Attend and contribute to brand review meetings, reporting on price, sell through and performance of regions.
  • Work with the wider team to understand promotions or production delays which can impact demand and availability

Demand Planner - The Person

  • Degree in related field is desirable.
  • Experience in a similar role, demand planning, merchandising or forecasting is essential
  • You will have experience working with inventory management and stock forecasts
  • Strong mathematical skills and an expert user of Excel.
  • Able to multitask and prioritse workloads
  • Confident communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with commercial awareness.
