Our client, a rapidly growing international manufacturing company located on the Wirral, is searching for a highly motivated Project Engineer to join their innovative team.
In this role, you'll take the lead on a variety of critical engineering projects, including building modifications, facility upgrades, site services, and enhancements to production equipment and processes. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll be responsible for scoping, planning, implementing, and delivering engineering projects of varying scales and complexities, all within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives and scope.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules to meet deadlines.
Ensure designs meet standards by reviewing and documenting required processes.
Conduct feasibility studies, including cost estimates and labour requirements.
Take full ownership of capital expenditure projects, ensuring solutions deliver solid returns on investment.
Coordinate all activities with internal teams and external vendors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors and third parties.
Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and review invoices to ensure timely delivery within budget.
Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate risks.
Present project reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress and key achievements.

Essential Requirements:
Proven ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Familiarity with 5S, TPM, and WCM methodologies.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
Knowledge of industry standards and relevant codes.
Expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as instrumentation and automation.
Analytical thinker, capable of addressing complex challenges and delivering practical solutions.
Demonstrated experience in project management and technical proficiency.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
Ability to manage multiple, technically complex engineering projects simultaneously.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
