After another brilliant growth year we are looking to expand our Service Coordination team with an office based Service Coordinator to support our expanding Field Service Engineering team. The role will be a busy, telephone based coordination role where the successful candidate will be answering incoming telephone calls from healthcare clients requiring maintenance, repairs and validation of their equipment and organising engineering support through our field service engineering team.

The Service Coordinator role will involve:

  • Answering incoming telephone calls from clients requiring maintenance, repairs and validation of their equipment
  • Assisting in dealing with client enquiries regarding the Service offerings from iM Med
  • Liaising with the Service Operations Director, Manager and Field teams to allocate jobs
  • Planning work for IM Med Service Engineers including:
    • Qualifying job requirements, and recording in the Service System
    • Allocating and coordinating resource as required
    • Forwarding job information to Service Engineers
    • Providing support information to Service Engineers regarding site contacts, etc.
    • Updating job planner
  • Contacting engineers and clients to arrange and agree dates for breakdown visits
  • Logging technical queries and liaising with iM Technical Director and other designated team members to answer them
  • Assist in the continuing development and use of the Service System Software.

Full training for the Service Coordinator will be provided. However, as we have recently been awarded a number of new contracts we are ideally looking to recruit Coordinator with relevant industry experience or previous experience in a Service Coordination role. Familiarity with the healthcare sector and healthcare decontamination environment is highly advantageous.

  • Ability to multitask effectively and prioritise work based on customer needs
  • Strong customer service skills and experience of working in a busy telephone based environment
