Are you looking for an exciting role that is fun, diverse and rewarding? Despite my different health conditions, including autoimmune disorders, I am a 49-year-old lady with great humour and a light spirit. These, among others, include fibromyalgia and Addison's Disease. I also have mobility issues and use a crutch indoors/outdoors and an electric wheelchair for longer distances outdoors. I am semi-retired and work as a counsellor 3 days a week in the afternoons. I have many hobbies, such as photography, building dollhouses, and quilting. However, despite this, I can get depressed at times. As a Personal Assistant, you must be enthusiastic about communicating with and supporting me in a person-centred manner. I am looking for a personal assistant (female due to the nature of personal care work) for bank hours to cover sickness and holidays as and when required:

to cover the position of three Personal Assistants for a permanent flexible contract. As the three personal Assistants share the rota, you would only cover part of the week at a time (if 1 Personal Assistant is away, the maximum hours you might cover is 9 hours - 3 days)

Pay Rate £17.52 per hour


The schedule requested from you would be as follows (partial cover for each time):

· Mondays: 4.5hours - PA 1

· Tuesdays: 4.5 hours -PA2

· Wednesday: 2 ¼ hours -PA3

· Thursdays: 2 ¼ hours - PA2

· Fridays: 4.5 hours -PA3

· Saturdays: 2 ¼ hours -PA3

· Sundays: 2 ¼ hours -PA1
The jobs entail:

1. Preparing breakfast,

2. Prior experience with helping with personal care (shower/dressing/hair drying),

3. Preparing a hot meal with "Hello Fresh".

4. You will also remind me to take my medication and prepare my lunch pack for work.

5. On a Tuesday, it also includes cleaning the house, particularly the areas I use.

6. Monday and Friday will include social hours in which you would either do crafts with me or take me out to appointments/ coffee, etc. Details:

You MUST like dogs and cats as I have two very friendly cocker spaniels and two cuddly cats. Working as part of a team is also essential. This is an employed position funded by Social Services.

Using technology such as a Brighthr app and a WhatsApp group to communicate is necessary for this job.
