Financial Controller

They are looking for a Financial Controller to work closely with the Finance Director.
The role will suit an individual with a background with implementing and owning finance operational processes, and overseeing financial reporting, with a proven track record of managing, reporting and controlling financial accounts across their previous roles.
Main tasks and
responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Finance & Administration Director and management to ensure compliance with policies, safeguarding the business financially.Manage a small finance team, overseeing all financial aspects across their UK sites, including long-term planning, budgeting, and performance analysis.Implement and standardise control procedures, ensuring all accounting records and financial controls meet audit requirements.Produce comprehensive financial reports (weekly, monthly, annual), including year-end accounts, while enhancing systems for efficiency and consistency.Monitor cash flow, currency requirements, cost performance, and KPIs, driving budget targets and providing regular financial insights to departmental heads and the factory manager.
