Financial Controller

White Horse are working with a marketing leading, international business that are looking for somebody to join them to assist with their continued growth.
They are looking for a Financial Controller to work closely with the Finance Director.
The role will suit an individual with a background with implementing and owning finance operational processes, and overseeing financial reporting, with a proven track record of managing, reporting and controlling financial accounts across their previous roles.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Finance & Administration Director and management to ensure compliance with policies, safeguarding the business financially.
- Manage a small finance team, overseeing all financial aspects across their UK sites, including long-term planning, budgeting, and performance analysis.
- Implement and standardise control procedures, ensuring all accounting records and financial controls meet audit requirements.
- Produce comprehensive financial reports (weekly, monthly, annual), including year-end accounts, while enhancing systems for efficiency and consistency.
- Monitor cash flow, currency requirements, cost performance, and KPIs, driving budget targets and providing regular financial insights to departmental heads and the factory manager.
