Job Requirements:

  • Degree in civil/structural engineering to master's level or equivalent.
  • Experience in bridge engineering with strong technical knowledge and proficiency in bridge engineering software (analysis and design).
  • Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland, the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or equivalent.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce quality design outputs.
  • Ability to work within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Organisational skills and a strong work ethic.


Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of and experience with Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) and other relevant standards and legislation including Eurocodes.
  • Multidisciplinary consultancy or contracting experience from allied civil engineering disciplines such as highways, structural, geotechnics, rail, or water.
  • Interest in developing business, liaising with clients, and working on bids and tenders.
