Anderson Knight are delighted to be representing our long term client on the key appointment of a Finance Manager on an 18 month FTC to cover maternity leave.

As the Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all financial activities of the company. Reporting directly to the Head of UK Accounting, you will be responsible for overseeing financial reports and analysis, maintaining compliance with both US & UK GAAP/IFRS and ensuring financial statements are reported in a timely and accurate manor.

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to make a significant impact within a dynamic and forward thinking organisation.

The main duties and responsibilities will include:

Lead and oversee the finance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure optimal performance and development.

Forecast an control revenue, profitability and cash flow.

Maintain strict internal controls and ensure reports are submitted in a timely manor in accordance with GAAP.

Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's goals and objectives.

Manage the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Collaborate with the wider group to provide strategic financial insights.

Drive innovation within the finance function to enhance productivity and effectiveness.


The main candidate will be a fully qualified who can demonstrate proven experience leading a team. You will be experienced working with a larger business and will have a strong understanding of GAAP, it is desirable to have experience with US GAAP but not essential. UK tax knowledge is also desirable.

Our client requires someone who can be critical in a constructive manor to deliver excellence within the finance function and use their initiative to develop processes and develop key relationships across the business.
