Working Hours:?Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, on call 1 week in 4
Salary: Up to £34,000 + standby and callout fees
Multi Skilled Operative to be based in Somerset.
This is a mobile role that will see you covering reactive maintenance within 30 miles from Taunton to Ilchester.
You will be working to undertake a variety of plumbing services and other repairs, including building work, grounds work and drainage related leaks.
Your main responsibility will be to repair and maintain plumbing, replacing defective washers, replacing or mending boking pipes and opening clogged drains, toilets, gutters, rain water pipes and any other plumbing work.
Your other responsibilities include;
Undertake patch plastering works, tiling, floor laying, decorating replacing of internal and external doorsInstall supports for pipes, equipment and fixtures prior to installationTo undertake a continual programme of risk assessment in relation to the roleTo complete and finalise projects to a high standard and have the ability to self-snag works on completionMaintain van stocks and provide information enabling the improvements of Right first-time fixesEnsure all H&S documentation (RAMS) are present prior to engaging the taskBe flexible and willing to work shift patterns to cover the appointmentsCover out of hours on a rota
What youll need to do this role
Your core trade will be in plumbingA Full UK Driving LicenseExperience in domestic plumbing and any other tradeAn NVQ Level 2 in qualification in a plumbing fieldPrevious experience as a multi trade works
