To work within the Gaming Machine Support Project Team to provide a service across all UK casinos with regard to installation, re-configuration and de-commissioning of live and electronic gaming products plus ancillary equipment. Please note this role is located in our Wednesbury Stores Office. The successful candidate must live within 75 miles of this location.

The project team operates a flexible approach to working to ensure that as little inconvenience is experienced by casinos during projects. This requires a need for early starts and long days during certain projects, additional days off are included within the roster to compensate. This role involves extensive UK travel driving a company vehicle and a considerable number of days working away and stopping in hotels. This is a physical role and there is a considerable amount of manual handling for which appropriate training and equipment is provided. 

Key responsbilities:

Assist with installation and re-location of network cabling, switches, cabinets, server racks, live gaming tables and gaming equipment. To service and repair gaming equipment where necessary to the specified company standards. To assist in machine preparations and delivery of gaming equipment when required. To follow diagnostic procedures to identify faults with gaming equipment and data networks. To keep up to date with technological developments in both gaming equipment and the provision of the required data infrastructure To assist with bench repairs to equipment as and when required. To ensure that tools and test equipment are kept in a serviceable condition. To observe machine accounting and security procedures in the casinos where work is carried out. To anticipate and report areas of security risk to their line manager. To ensure compliance with legislation and company procedures in respect of Health and Safety in the workplace and public areas, at all times. Administration To maintain accurate, timely and systematic records of services, repairs, spares, stationery and supplies. To maintain accurate time sheets. To update jobs in a correct and timely manner. To adopt a pleasant, professional and positive manner with internal and external customers. Ensure internal customers are kept informed at all stages of progress with their projects. To recognise the importance of teamwork, building and maintaining effective working relationships with all colleagues. To adopt a positive and flexible attitude to changing priorities and procedures. To have the ability to communicate in an appropriate manner with all colleagues and customers over a variety of platforms. To carry out any other duties that may be reasonably requested from time to time.


Personal Skills & Experience

Experience in machine installations, repair and maintenance of current gaming equipment and components. (Training will be provided) An understanding of player tracking systems including DRS and EGI03 software and hardware. (Training will be provided) Experience in structured cabling, termination and testing procedures and knowledge of IP networks. Computer literate in Microsoft Office Word and Excel and familiar with database systems. Have excellent interpersonal skills at all levels of contact and in a wide variety of situations. Demonstrates excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels. Keeps commercial aspects continually in mind when taking actions or making decisions. Ensuring that customers and line managers are regularly kept informed of important current issues.
