X Ray Screening Operative

Job description:

X-Ray Screening Cargo Responsible for identifying possible threats within Cargo with the use of X-Ray, ETD. Full training will be provided.

Shift: 4 on / 4 off - 2 days and 2 nights (12 hours shifts)

Key Responsibilities include:

  • To work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • To load and unload X-Ray scanner by hand onto X-ray machine and Conveyor belts.
  • To operate the x-ray machines and successful identify any prohibited items and anything else which could be deemed as a threat.
  • To ensure that cargo shipments are handled and stored according to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • To carry out any other tasks deemed necessary and reasonable by the company.
  • To be able to work flexible working hours when necessary.
  • To work as a team.
  • Always represent MH Recruitment in a professional manner.

Schedule:

  • 12-hour shift
  • Day shift/Night shift
  • Weekend availability

Candidates will require:

  • To provide 5-year checkable history (we will complete this)
  • Valid DBS (issued within last 12 weeks) (we can complete this)
  • Cargo Operative Training - CO (we can complete this)
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication in English.

For this Role you will need:

  • Safety Boots / Steel Toe capped boots (You will need to bring these
