What you'll do

As a Solutions Architect in the Bet Tribe, you will work with our 3rd party delivery partners as well as our in house squads to provide technical leadership of the solutions delivered.

The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and will keep abreast of developments within the market, industry and technology landscape. Youâll be working with a very talented team of tech leads, engineers, product, commercial and marketing specialists who love what they do â and we expect no less from you.

You should have an insatiable appetite for learning new things and improving existing ones.

Reporting into the Head of Architecture, the Solutions Architect will..

  • Build a partnership with each squad by promoting a collaborative approach based on Agile values and principles.

  • Be a process mentor to the squadâs use of the Scrum delivery framework and will support them in the removal of impediments and blockers.

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders in the business and work with the Product Managers to help facilitate the prioritisation of work from a technical and product roadmap perspective.

  • Be ab exceptional leader and role model within your team, demonstrating a strong delivery ethic using Agile values and principles through your thinking, processes and actions.

  • Facilitate the delivery of high-quality software regularly, repeatedly and predictably using a metric driven approach to continuous improvement.

How you'll do it

  • Enable product delivery by providing high level technical designs which have been shared and agreed with the appropriate stakeholders within the business.

  • Govern delivery by acting as the design authority during design/build/release, making sure that all areas have been considered (e.g., functional,. non-functional, security/compliance, etc) and design documentation exists and is accurate.

  • Empower and help both in-house and 3rd party software delivery teams to make sensible technology choices, and advise on approaches that achieve both the functional and non-functional goals.

  • Act as a subject matter expert being able to understand the overall solution requirements and suggest alternatives to better the solution and alleviate the challenges being addressed.

  • Provide high-level feedback and feasibility / ball-park effort required to technically achieve a business objective, and work with the Head of Architecture and / or Principle Architect to keep such activity within the bounds of the overall technology strategy.
