Wentworth James Group are recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer for our client based near Cradley Heath on a permanent basis.

Duties of a Quality Engineer are:

  • Operating CMM machinery and metrology equipment
  • Working with ISO9001 requirements
  • Carry out first offs, in process and final inspection of machined components
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Possess strong analytical abilities to drive Root Cause and Corrective Action to tackle difficult technical challenges
  • The ability to understand quality issues and determine suitable outcomes via reasonable analysis
  • Able to measure fine tolerances using all hand-held measuring and inspection tools
  • Ensuring all programmes are run without errors and all reports are issued in a timely manner
  • Giving advice on measurement related activities
  • Correct any faults with the running of the CNC machine / Adjusting offsets
  • Calibration of measurement equipment at defined frequency
  • PC Literate, particularly in the use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
