Wentworth James Group are recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer for our client based near Cradley Heath on a permanent basis.
Duties of a Quality Engineer are:
* Operating CMM machinery and metrology equipment
* Working with ISO9001 requirements
* Carry out first offs, in process and final inspection of machined components
* Ability to read and interpret drawings
* Possess strong analytical abilities to drive Root Cause and Corrective Action to tackle difficult technical challenges
* The ability to understand quality issues and determine suitable outcomes via reasonable analysis
* Able to measure fine tolerances using all hand-held measuring and inspection tools
* Ensuring all programmes are run without errors and all reports are issued in a timely manner
* Giving advice on measurement related activities
* Correct any faults with the running of the CNC machine / Adjusting offsets
* Calibration of measurement equipment at defined frequency
* PC Literate, particularly in the use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
