A well established manufacturing site, located in the West Midlands is currently looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Manager.

As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations within the organisation. You will lead a team of maintenance staff and ensure that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained to support the operational needs of the business.

Duties

- Supervising and coordinating the work of maintenance staff

- Managing and prioritising maintenance requests and projects

- Utilising project management skills to plan and execute maintenance tasks efficiently

- Applying electrical and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues

- Reading and interpreting schematics and logic controllers

- Providing leadership and guidance to the maintenance team

Experience

Good time management

Man management

Methodical and can organised and structure a maintenance team effectively

Experience in project management and integration of new machinery onto site

Able to work on their own initiative to timely deadlines and react at short notice

Able to produce statistical analysis on maintenance issues, interview maintenance engineers and

Deal with day to day queries and find solutions.

Think on their feet and be a team player

Experience with various types of machinery
