Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Operations Manager to join our team at Birmingham Hospice. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our flagship superstore in Harborne, Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coach shop staff and volunteers to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards, stock rotation, and health and safety procedures.
- Drive sales growth and maximize revenue through effective inventory management and sales strategies.
- Ensure the shop is always up to brand standards, including maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Manage opening and closing procedures, including till operation and cash handling.
- Develop and implement customer engagement strategies to drive customer loyalty and retention.
Requirements:
- Good standard of education.
- Significant retail experience, including experience in retail management and supervision.
- Experience in shop merchandising and working within sales targets.
- Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to handle complaints and difficult situations.
- Confident communication and organizational skills.
